On January 26, 2024, the Ivorian government and PFO Energies officially launched the construction of the FERKE SOLAR plant (52 MWc) in Sokhoro. This 39.5 billion Fcfa (€60M) project will power 370,000 people and create 600 jobs. It aligns with the goal of 45% renewable energy by 2030.
