Côte d’Ivoire : first Gulf‑Africa set for Dec 8‑10, 2026

The Gulf‑Africa Strategic Partnership Initiative (GASPI) will bring African and Gulf leaders, international financial institutions, and private sector representatives together in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire from December 8‑10, 2026, to deepen diplomatic and economic cooperation across sectors including energy, transport, agriculture and telecommunications, according to the official GASPI initiative platform.
Trade between Africa and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) more than doubled from $57.7 billion in 2016 to $121 billion in 2023, per Rising Gulf Investments in Africa, an official research report by the African Export‑Import Bank (Afreximbank).
Co‑organized by Gravitas Sovereign & Strategic Advisory with support from partners such as the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), GASPI is intended as a biennial strategic platform to institutionalize Africa‑Gulf cooperation and catalyze Gulf investments on the continent.
