Côte d’Ivoire : €103.3M loan ratified for Ghana power grid interconnection

On June 4, 2025, Côte d’Ivoire ratified a €103.3M ($112M) loan from IDA to fund Phase 1 of the WAPP Ghana–Côte d’Ivoire power interconnection. The project includes a high-voltage cross-border line between Dunkwa II and Bingerville, aiming to boost power trade and climate-resilient infrastructure in West Africa.
