Climate : Africa Climate Ventures to receive €9.3 million from FSD Africa Investments

FSD Africa Investments, the investment arm of FSD Africa, plans to invest up to £8 million (approx. €9.3 million) in Africa Climate Ventures (ACV) by 2024. ACV is a venture capital company focused on financing African climate start-ups. FSD Africa Investments has already invested £1 million (approx. $1.2 million) in ACV in the form of a convertible loan to support ACV’s portfolio companies. The aim of this investment is to support Africa’s transition to sustainable, environmentally-friendly energy by backing profitable, climate-focused businesses.
