The African Development Bank (AfDB) has approved a $30 million investment in Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) to launch green shares. This funding will support climate action projects, including wind and solar power plants in Djibouti and Egypt. The initiative aims to mobilize capital to address Africa’s annual $170 billion infrastructure gap while enhancing climate resilience across the continent.
