The list of the wealthiest men in the world for the year 2020 has been released by « Forbes » magazine. This year, the number of wealthy Africans increased from sixteen in 2011 to twenty in 2020. In the ranking, the Nigerian Aliko Dangote was ranked by « Forbes » in first place in the ranking of the richest men in Africa, for the 9th time in a row with a fortune estimated at 10.1 billion dollars followed by the Egyptian Nassef Sawiris with a fortune of 8 billion dollars, the Nigerien Mike Adenuga in 3rd position with 7.7 billion dollars, in 4th position the South African diamond dealer, Nicky Oppenheimer with a fortune of 7.7 billion dollars or in 5th position the South African Johann Rupert with assets of 6.5 billion dollars.
