CAMEROON VITAL: A Universal Appeal to Promote Cameroon 🇨🇲

During this sensitive period of the presidential election in Cameroon, my beloved homeland, I choose to launch an appeal dedicated to promoting Cameroon as a destination 🇨🇲. This initiative is not political but stems from a deep conviction: Cameroon deserves to be better known, better promoted, and better positioned on the international stage.

“It is time to offer a new vision focused on the economic, social, and cultural influence of our country”

Without interfering in political affairs—which is not my domain—I simply believe it is time to present a new vision centered on the economic, social, and cultural prominence of our nation.

Cameroon: a giant with multiple strengths 🇨🇲

Cameroon is much more than a land of cultural and linguistic diversity: it is a breadbasket of Central Africa, with enormous agricultural and agro-industrial potential.

🙏 2nd largest African producer of cocoa (over 290,000 tons per year)
🙏 5th largest global producer of plantain bananas
🙏 Potential for self-sufficiency in maize, cassava, and yam, with export capacities
🙏 Untapped fertile land: only 20% of 7 million cultivable hectares are used

To cite just a few examples …

“With better industrialization and the promotion of local sectors, Cameroon could feed the entire subregion and export far beyond”

With improved industrialization and development of local value chains, Cameroon could nourish the entire subregion and reach international markets.

A stable country with tremendous potential, driven by its youth and women 👍

Cameroon remains a country of peace and stability despite governance challenges and regional security issues. This stability is a major asset for our development. 🙏

I also salute the dynamism of Cameroonian women, pillars of the informal economy, innovative entrepreneurs, and key drivers of our agriculture. Their role deserves even greater recognition and support. 🙏

“May Cameroon shine ever brighter, for Africa and for the world”

The Cameroon I envision: a call for unity and faith 🇨🇲

Cameroon is a great and beautiful country, rich in landscapes, cultures, and talents. Rather than divide, let us work together to promote our strengths, strengthen our economy, attract investors and tourists, and build a prosperous nation that leads Central Africa. 🙏

Finally, I entrust our beloved Cameroon to God, according to His promise:

“If my people, who are called by my name, humble themselves, pray and seek my face, then I will heal their land.”
— 2 Chronicles 7:14 (Bible)

May Cameroon continue to shine ever brighter, for Africa and for the world.
