CEMAC : a mega pipeline project to interconnect 11 Central African countries

In Brazzaville, on June 9, 2025, the countries of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) signed an agreement for a mega pipeline project that will interconnect the 11 countries of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS).

As a reminder, according to World Bank data, 60% of the population in Central Africa has no access to quality electricity, despite significant hydroelectric potential.
