CEMAC : 2026 budget set at 151.3 M USD to strengthen regional integration

The Council of Ministers of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC) approved its 2026 budget during the 44th ordinary session held in Brazzaville from October 27 to 31, 2025. Set at 85,923,690,256 FCFA (~151.3 M USD), the budget marks a 2.42 % increase from 2025, reflecting member states’ commitment to regional integration while ensuring prudent financial management. The session validated key economic policies for 2026, strengthened transparency and governance, and prepared integrative projects such as free roaming and CAPES energy to build a more united community serving Central African populations.
