During the visit on October 16, 2025, Cape Verdean Prime Minister José Ulisses Correia e Silva signed two agreements with Luxembourg on the “Water and Sanitation” and “Employment and Employability” programs, supporting social and economic development. Luxembourg, represented by Luc Frieden and Xavier Bettel, also confirmed aid for post-Erin storm reconstruction. Over 2,500 Cape Verdeans and 8,000 diaspora members live in Luxembourg.
