The European Investment Bank (EIB) has opened a line of credit worth around FCFA 10 billion for the benefit of Commercial Bank Cameroon (CBC). This financial assistance spread over seven years will in particular allow the bank to finance the development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Small and Medium-Sized Industries (PMI), according to information relayed by Financial Afrik. « At the end of very specific and very selective due diligence, the EIB confirms the credibility of Commercial Bank and its eligibility for this important financing which strengthens the commitment of the bank in favor of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) », announced the bank in a press release.
