Burkina Faso : The African Development Bank  approves $116.8 M to boost agricultural production

The African Development Bank (AfDB) approved $116.8 million for Phase 2 of the Emergency Project to Strengthen Agricultural Production (PURPA‑BF). The project will benefit 720,000 people, create 1,000 jobs, distribute climate‑smart seeds and fertilizers, and aim for cereal self‑sufficiency by 2030, building on record Phase 1 results in 2024‑2025 (6.1 million tonnes produced).
