Botswana : 5.5bn$ MoU with Ulsan to upgrade Morupule and add clean energy capacity

Botswana signed a 5.5bn$ MoU with Ulsan Holding and partners to rehabilitate Morupule A and B and develop new solar and clean-coal plants. The seven-year plan targets 1.5 GW to boost national energy security and enable exports in the SAPP. Ulsan is also advancing a major iron project in Congo.
