Benin has been selected to host the 2025 Francophonie Economic and Trade Mission (MECF) in June 2025 in Cotonou. This will be the first time the event is held in West Africa. The OIF chose Benin for its favorable business environment, political stability, and strategic position as a regional hub, explains the institution in a press release. .
