The Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) reported a profit of 686 billion FCFA ($1.166 billion) for the fiscal year 2024, according to the audited financial statements by the institution’s Commissioner Controller. This positive performance comes amidst prudent management and financial consolidation efforts for the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU).
