Banking : Société Générale sells its Moroccan subsidiaries to Saham for 745 million euros

Société Générale has announced the sale of its Moroccan subsidiaries to Saham for 745 million euros. Saham would take over all activities and employees of these entities. This transaction aligns with Société Générale’s strategic roadmap, aimed at simplifying its model and strengthening its capital. The operation is expected to be finalized by the end of 2024, subject to regulatory approvals.
