Banking and finance: Access Bank Cameroon records more than USD 16 million in deposits in H2 2022 

Access Bank Cameroon, a subsidiary of the Nigerian group Access Bank, has recorded more than 16 million dollars (or 10 billion CFA francs) in deposits, in six months of operation (from June to December 2022). This represents less than 1% of the market share of the 18 banks operating in Cameroon during the period under review. 

These figures are encouraging. This is, especially since Access Bank Cameroon, with an initial capital of 25 million dollars (15 billion FCFA), has only one branch in Douala.  Expanding its network is a priority for the bank in 2023.
