Following the decision of the Attorney General’s office following the declaration of bankruptcy of Banco Kwanza Investimentos SA (BKI) with the Provincial Court of Luanda, in accordance with provision n ° 1 of article 135 of the Basic Law on Financial Institutions , the extraordinary assembly, board of directors of the Central Bank of Angola, as the supervisory body of the Angolan financial system, reported a shortage of capital and withdrawn, Monday, January 18, 2021, the BKI approval.
