Angola will begin production of non-associated natural gas in 2025 through the new Gas Consortium (NCG), announced Diamantino Azevedo, Minister of Mineral Resources, Petroleum, and Gas. The project, led by Sonangol, Azule Energy, TotalEnergies, and Cabinda Gulf, will create 700 jobs and contribute $2 million annually to social projects until 2056. Valued at $4 billion, the project is a key step in the country’s economic diversification.
