Angola : Eni and BP commit $5bn through Azule Energy

On September 3, Azule Energy – a 50/50 joint venture between Eni and BP – announced a $5 billion investment in Angola to drill 18 new wells, expand non-associated gas projects, and build a biorefinery in Luanda. The company aims to reach 370,000 boe/d by 2026. The plan, discussed in Luanda by President João Lourenço and Eni CEO Claudio Descalzi, also includes education and health initiatives for over 17,000 students.
