Spain and Algeria are negotiating an increase in natural gas supplies amid global market volatility triggered by Middle East tensions. The discussions focus on boosting Medgaz pipeline volumes by around 10%, adding nearly 1 billion m³/year to existing imports of ~5 billion m³ annually under contracts between Sonatrach and Naturgy.
