Qatar plans to open 500 retail spaces in Algeria as part of an ambitious project announced at the inauguration of the « Four Weeks Market » in Algiers. This investment, which promises to create 10,000 jobs, is part of the drive to modernize Algeria’s retail sector. Commerce Minister Tayeb Zitouni also mentioned the development of a legal framework to regulate this expansion.
