On June 3, 2025, the World Bank reported that Algeria’s non-hydrocarbon GDP grew by 4.8% in 2024, driven by a 9.5% increase in public investment and robust household consumption. Inflation eased to 4%, aided by better-than-expected agricultural output. Growth was also supported by manufacturing, trade, and hospitality sectors.
