Algeria is launching a bid for six gas blocks, aiming to increase its gas production by 20 billion cubic meters per year over the next 5 to 10 years. Mourad Beldjehem, head of Alnaft, believes these volumes will strengthen Algeria’s position in the European market. This first tender is part of an annual series planned until 2028 to attract international investors, supported by improved contractual terms.
