This weekend, 30 November–1 December 2025, Algeria hosts the International Conference on the Crimes of Colonialism in Africa. Initiated by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and endorsed by the African Union in February 2025, the event brings together African ministers, experts, academics, and delegates from the Caribbean and other regions, aiming to advance historical justice and reparations for Africans and people of African descent.
