On October 24, Cevital and Haier signed a strategic partnership in Algiers to create an industrial joint venture at the Sétif complex, with an investment of €500 million. The plant will manufacture washing machines, refrigerators, TVs, and air conditioners, achieving over 70% local integration. The initiative aims to boost employment, strengthen domestic production, and establish Algeria as a regional industrial hub.
