Algeria: A $7 billion phosphate megaproject

Algeria has launched the « Bled El Habda » integrated phosphate project in the Tebessa province, with a $7 billion investment. The project includes a 2.2 billion-tonne mine and 21 processing units in Souk Ahras, Annaba, and Skikda. It aims to create 42,000 direct and indirect jobs by 2027.
