Since 2022, the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) has registered 11,076 projects, totaling over 4,450 billion DZD, according to its director-general, Omar Rekkache. More than 50% of these projects are already in the implementation phase, creating nearly 270,000 jobs. A new strategy, set for 2025, aims to increase this number to 20,000 projects by expanding the land portfolio and establishing new industrial and activity zones.
