African airlines have decided to conclude an alliance pact to negotiate better prices for jet fuel, announced the Secretary General of the Association of African Airlines (Afraa), Abderahmane Berthé.
A committee of the continent’s major carriers, including South African Airways and Kenya Airways, has been formed to negotiate lower prices and secure kerosene deliveries from July 2022, he added.
