African Union : Belobe and Banyankimbona elected as final Commissioners, completing leadership team

On July 23, 2025, the African Union confirmed the election of H.E. Francisca Tatchouop Belobe (Equatorial Guinea) to Economic Development, Trade & Tourism, and H.E. Prof. Gaspard Banyankimbona (Burundi) to Education, Science & Technology. Their appointment completes the 8-member African Union Commission.
