On November 29, 2024, the Board of Directors of the African Development Fund approved loans totaling €156.66 million to rehabilitate 242 kilometers of roads linking Burkina Faso, Mali, and Côte d’Ivoire. This project, co-financed by the Islamic Development Bank and the European Union, aims to improve infrastructure, stimulate regional trade, and enhance the resilience of local populations.
