African Development Bank and Chad sign $44.9 million grant agreement for Kyabé-Mayo road paving

On February 19, 2025, the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Chadian government signed a $44.9 million grant agreement to pave the 49.5 km Kyabé-Mayo section of the Kyabé-Singako road, including the construction of a 55-meter bridge. This investment aims to open up the southern and eastern regions of Chad, facilitating transport and strengthening the resilience of local populations.
