Africa Union : Luanda Summit secures $18 billion for Regional Infrastructure

Concluding on October 30, 2025, in Luanda, the third Summit on Infrastructure Financing in Africa resulted in $18 billion in investment pledges. The funds will support 38 bankable projects and 11 initiatives under the African Union’s PIDA program. Organized by the AU and AUDA-Nepad, the event marks a key milestone toward bridging Africa’s annual $130–170 billion infrastructure gap.
