The summit connects technology leaders and stakeholders including investors, corporates, mobile operators, financial, DeFi and crypto technology companies, startups, developers, regulators and policy makers to do business across the continent.
This, as the African tech ecosystem is expected to grow from about $115 billion to $712 billion by 2050 according to Endeavour Nigeria’s recent report. « After a sold-out summit in 2022, we are thrilled to once again welcome over 1,000 technology leaders, investors and international players to Nairobi for two days. This year’s Africa Tech Summit will feature 150 speakers over two stages, masterclass sessions, an exhibition and multiple networking events to drive business and investment forward, » commented Andrew Fassnidge, director of the Africa Tech Summit.
The Africa Money & DeFi Summit, the Africa Startup Summit and the Africa Mobile & App Summit
The 2023 edition hosts three gatherings: the Africa Money & DeFi Summit, the Africa Startup Summit and the Africa Mobile & App Summit, which brings together technology players from across the continent. As the Fintech space continues to grow 20% year-over-year, with an estimated $40 billion market by 2025 according to MasterCard, the Africa Money & DeFi Summit will continue to uncover new opportunities in FinTech, Web3 and decentralized finance (DeFi).
