On January 23, 2025, a Finnish delegation led by Anna-Kaisa Heikkinen met with the African Development Bank in Abidjan to enhance their collaboration. Discussions focused on circular economy, AfCFTA, and the African Development Fund replenishment. Finland reaffirmed its commitment by doubling its contribution to ACEF and supporting ADF-17.
