AFCON 2027 : Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda to host tournament from June 19 to July 18 

The 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will take place from 19 June to 18 July 2027 in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed. CAF President Patrice Motsepe dismissed media speculation about postponement to 2028 and reaffirmed that the tournament will proceed as planned in East Africa, marking the first time three countries co‑host the event and noting ongoing infrastructure preparation in host cities.
