Accor Opening of 16 hotels in Africa in 2020, 71 by 2025
The Accor hotel group is strengthening its presence in Africa with the opening of 16 hotels on the continent in 2020. These include the first Pullman hotel in Kenya, two Fairmont establishments in Taghazout and Rabat in Morocco, three new Mantis hotels in Rwanda, and five hotels in Ethiopia.
« Accor, which has a strong historical presence in French-speaking Africa, also wishes to expand in Rwanda, Nigeria and Cameroon. We are constantly looking at different areas to increase our presence on the continent, » said Mark Willis.
In addition, over the next five years, the group announces the opening of 71 hotel establishments across the continent.
