Morocco : Maroc Telecom secures €370 million loan to expand 4G in Chad and Mali

On June 20, 2025, Maroc Telecom announced securing a €370 million loan from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to expand 4G services in Chad and Mali. The funding aims to enhance high-speed internet access, reduce the digital divide, and support economic growth in line with the African Union’s goal of creating a unified digital market by 2030. With 79 million customers, Morocco Telecom is committed to advancing digital inclusion across Africa.
