DRC : $27M EU-funded cross-border projects launched with Uganda to boost stability and trade

On June 6, 2025, the DRC and Uganda launched two EU-backed cross-border projects worth $27M, led by IOM and TradeMark Africa. Aimed at fostering peace, trade and community resilience, the projects include infrastructure upgrades, safe mobility and youth training. Next phase: Bunia.
