Angola : multiple agreements signed with France in education, health, culture, space, and security
Angolan Foreign Minister Téte António and his French counterpart Jean-Noël Barrot formalized a general cooperation agreement, renewing the 1982 pact and covering areas such as education, health, culture, and space. Another intergovernmental agreement was signed to strengthen cooperation on internal security, focusing on the fight against terrorism and transnational crime. Memorandums were also established in the fields of biodiversity, sports, and an irrigation project aimed at improving food security in Angola. These agreements mark a significant step in strengthening economic and diplomatic ties between Angola and France.
