The Sovereign Fund for Strategic Investments (FONSIS), through its WE! Fund, is investing 750 million FCFA (approximately $1.2 million) in two women-led SMEs: PRESTIGES Catering and ESTEVAL, two key players in the agri-food sector. This financial support will enable PRESTIGES Catering, founded by Maïmouna Dior Fall, to triple its daily production capacity to reach 6,500 meals by 2026, thanks to a modern industrial unit. ESTEVAL, led by Valérie Hélène Quenum, will undergo an industrial transition, tripling its production of natural juices to 3,000 liters per day.
These investments aim to promote women’s economic empowerment and strengthen local value chains. Established in 2019, the WE! Fund continues to play a pivotal role in supporting initiatives with significant socio-economic and sustainable impacts in Senegal.
