Algeria is progressing in its strategy to guarantee health security and pharmaceutical self-sufficiency by 2025. Following the launch of insulin production units in Constantine and Boufarik, a major milestone was reached with the start of work on the Batna plant, designed to produce raw materials for paracetamol and aspirin.
