Morocco : foreign direct investment increases by 46.8% in 2024

Morocco stands out as a preferred destination for foreign investors, with foreign direct investments (FDI) reaching 13.06 billion dirhams ($1.34 billion) in the first seven months of 2024, marking a 46.8% increase compared to 2023. The revenues from these FDIs have also grown by 9.5%, reaching 22.23 billion dirhams ($2.27 billion). Key sectors attracting investments include aerospace, automotive, and renewable energy, reinforcing Morocco’s position as an industrial hub in Africa.
