Sasai Money, a fintech from Cassava Technologies, has formed a partnership with Airtel Money to offer free money transfers between several African countries. Launched in Zimbabwe in May 2023, this service now allows users in the UK and South Africa to send funds to Uganda at no cost. The initiative will soon expand to Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, and Zambia, aiming to revolutionize money transfers in Africa and reduce reliance on costly and risky informal channels.
