Botswana : discovery of the world’s second largest diamond

Botswana’s President, Mokgweetsi Masisi, unveiled the world’s second-largest rough diamond, a 2,492-carat stone, discovered at the Karowe mine by the Canadian company Lucara Diamond. Thanks to the innovative Mega Diamond Recovery technology, the gem was extracted without damage, further solidifying Botswana’s position on the global stage.
