Nigeria : $2.2 billion agreement with Sun Africa for solar photovoltaic infrastructure

Nigeria’s Minister of Energy announces a $2.2 billion solar photovoltaic infrastructure agreement with Sun Africa, marking an important step towards energy sustainability.

The partnership includes the development of a 961MWp solar photovoltaic power generation infrastructure and 455MWh energy storage systems, as part of the Minister’s strategy to transform the energy sector, focusing on decentralized, renewable energy distribution.
