Cameroon : Caverton Helicopters introduces the first Bell 429 in Africa

The Nigerian company, which provides air and sea logistics services to oil and gas companies in sub-Saharan Africa, announces that it has signed a contract with US firm Bell Textron Inc. for the purchase of a Bell 439 helicopter, which will be used on oil platforms in Cameroon, according to information relayed by « Investir au Cameroun ».

Caverton Helicopters, a subsidiary of Caverton Offshore Support Group, states that « this is the first Bell 429 to operate in the oil and gas market in West and Central Africa ».

According to the company, there are currently more than 450 Bell 429s in operation worldwide, totaling over 602,000 flight hours.
