Air Maroc is preparing to launch a call for tenders by the end of 2023 to acquire 200 aircraft for delivery over the next 10 years.
The announcement aligns with the program contract recently signed with the government to quadruple its fleet by 2037, and it comes especially a few days after the designation of Morocco to co-host the 2030 World Cup with Spain and Portugal.
RAM has in fact been positioned as a strategic player in the policy of the Shereef kingdom to help achieve the master plan for the tourism sector, which should attract up to 17.5 million tourists in 2026 and generate 12 billion USD in revenue.
