The Italian giant (4th largest electricity producer in the world behind France’s Engie and EDF and China’s Datang), which has been producing electricity for over a century, has just injected 8.2 million euros into the capital of its subsidiary Enel Green Power Morocco (EGPM), which has been prequalified for Masen’s Noor Midelt II contract.
The company has just been prequalified, in consortium with Taqa Morocco, for the contract for one of Morocco’s largest solar projects, namely that dedicated to the design, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of the second power plant in the « Noor Midelt II » solar complex. This photovoltaic power plant with battery storage will have an installed capacity of 400 MW with two hours of storage.
