Douala-Bangui Corridor : two Togolese companies awarded contract to manage and track goods

The Central African Republic (CAR) has chosen two Togolese companies to track and manage goods along the Douala-Bangui corridor. These are JLS Africa, a Togolese company specialising in the issue and management of electronic cargo tracking notes (Besc), and Société africaine d’investissements et de gestion des entreprises (Saige).

JLS Africa is responsible for tracking CAR maritime cargo transiting through the port of Douala in Cameroon. As for Saige, it will collect the commission on the tonnage of goods to or from the Central African Republic paid by the shipowners benefiting from the cargo.
